Sustainability Credentials:
The business is certified to the highest level of BRC and green status
for a number of Customer Ethical audit policies. All oils and fats are
sustainably sourced and fully certified. All meat is sourced in line
with best practice ethical animal welfare. Almost 40% of the product
they produce are plant based only. The business has taken significant
steps to reduce their energy and carbon footprint every year for over
a decade and continues on that journey still today. Likewise all of
their manufactured products are fully traceable. All waste water is
treated before leaving site, all organic waste is used in the bioenergy
production. They have reduced their water usage by 13% and their
municipal waste by 18% in the last 12 months. All of their finished
goods packaging is recyclable.
