Established in 1968, Killybegs Seafoods (KSF) is one of the principal Irish catchers,
processors and exporters of premium quality pelagic seafood from Ireland. Our raw
materials are sourced in the North West Atlantic water and brought to the factory in
refrigerated seawater trawlers. The main species produced are mackerel, herring, horse
mackerel, sprat and blue whiting. Each of these are graded and further processed in
order to achieve the maximum possible value for that product in a specific market.

In total KSF now produces over 50 different customer-specific products, under the
KSF brand, delivered to Europe, Russia, Far East and Africa. Annually, the company
handles over 25,000 metric tonnes of raw material. The company has three cold store
on site with a holding capacity of 12,000mt. To complement the processing business,
the company is also involved in the fish catching sector, thus giving the company
ready access to high quality raw material on a continuous basis. The company receives
exclusive supply from six of the twenty three pelagic refrigerated sea-water trawlers as
well as supply other Irish boats and foreign vessels.
