Advice to new suppliers
New suppliers should contact the Executive Chef by email with any
requests as he is the final decider in all purchasing matters.
Suppliers are advised that they must offer a competitive quote. The hotel
is keen to source artisan products from local producers as there is a strong
emphasis on supporting indigenous industry.
Other information
Credit terms are 30 days.
The company has LTAs (Long Term Agreements) with some suppliers,
especially for items such as tea, coffee and beverages. For fresh products,
LTAs are not used.
There is no room for brands within the company.
The Limerick Strand Hotel has both chilled and frozen storage facilities.
