In addition to van drivers and the sales team at the company’s offices, there
is one sales representative. Producers and prospective suppliers may make
presentations to the sales representative.
Advice to new suppliers
Potential suppliers should contact Kevin Sheridan or Sharon Bagnall via
email and follow up with a ‘phone call to arrange a meeting. Unsolicited
samples should not be sent.
For local producers to one of the Sheridan’s stores seeking a retail listing
only, the Store Manager has autonomy over purchasing and should be
contacted directly.
Producers should ensure that they have done their research and
established that there is a market for their products early on in the product
development process. They should also familiarise themselves with
Sheridans purchasing policy.
The main criteria for a product to feature on Sheridan’s distribution list is
quality. Other factors are important, but secondary.
Other information
Company turnover is approximately €5 million.
The company has Long Term Agreements (LTAs) with manufacturers of
Sheridan’s own brand products.
