        Ó Catháin Iasc Teo is a family run business established in 1975, and is one of Ireland’s
        premier producers of wholesale fresh and frozen pelagic and demersal Irish fish for
        export.

        Raw materials are sourced from the southern Irish fleet and goes from the fishing
        grounds to our processing plant within a matter of hours.

        Ó’ Catháin Iasc Teo incorporates ten inshore vessels and six 45 m deep-sea vessels.
        We specialise in mackerel, herring, horse mackerel, sprat, and tuna. We also process
        different types of whitefish in our facilities in Dingle.

        Ó’ Catháin Iasc’s present operation in Dingle has a capacity to fillet 100 tons per day
        and to freeze 100 tons of fresh fish per day. We can deliver both fresh and frozen Irish
        fish to any part of Europe, east or west.

        All our work is done to the highest hygiene and quality standards, with the full HACCP
        quality control system applied to all stages of production. We carry out histamine and
        other bacterial tests on all our products.
