COVID Ready:
Freshest salad leaves and herbs with lowest possible food miles that
are perfect for pre-packed salads and sandwiches. All products are
unprocessed and unwashed to minimise handling and ensure that the
leaves are naturally fresher for longer. Automated harvesting system
has been put in place this year with a reduction of handling by 90%. A
wide range of packaging from 75g to 500g and loose 1kg boxes to suit
the needs of every kitchen.
Sustainability Credentials:
As part of their Origin Green plan, McCormack Family Farms are
committed to increasing the share of Irish grown products vs imports,
reducing waste, reducing electricity consumption and better water
management. Sustainability has always been important at McCormack
Family Farms. Key achievements in 2019 in this area include reduction
of plastics used by 18t, reduction in use of fertiliser by 33% and
reduction in fungicides by 50%.
