O’Brien Fine Foods can offer full supply chain control and Bord Bia Quality
Assurance certification from farm through processing, reassuring any
consumer concerns regarding traceability and origin. The Brady Family,
Green Farm & Homebird brands have earned recognition and trust with end
consumers for their quality and taste credentials.
Sustainability Credentials:
There are three key pillars that O’Brien Fine Foods focus on in order to fulfil
their purpose of bringing better quality food to everyone, every day; Better
Sourced, Better Made and Better For You. These focus areas guide the
company through their sustainability journey. To date, some key highlights
on this journey include being proud members of Bord Bia’s Origin Green
Programme since 2014, moving to 100% renewable energy to power their
Timahoe site, developing an on-site waste water treatment plant in 2017
and significantly improving the sustainability of their packaging, which
has removed 550 tonnes of plastic from landfill annually. O’Brien Fine
Foods have also partnered with FoodCloud to deliver food weekly to those
most vulnerable in our communities, whilst simultaneously reducing food
waste.
